Rebecca Rice Dance is based on the choreographic work of Rebecca Rice through the creation, research, teaching and presentation of original dance compositions. Rebecca Rice's choreographic ideas include: Building finely crafted choreography that blends the movement concepts of modern dance with the elegance and technical virtuosity of ballet. Collaborations with contemporary, classical and experiential composers, musicians, media artists and costume designers,all devoted to innovations that combine movement with material. Educating the public on the art of creative thinking and improvisation through the teaching and performance of modern and ballet movement particularly through the relation to music and abstract ideas. The exploration and development of new models for the fields of modern dance.
